Encouragement

You hear, O LORD, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry.

~Psalm 10:17~

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,

so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

~Romans 15:4~

May the God who gives you endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.

May the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement

Anger

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

~Proverbs 15:1~

Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger.

A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.

"In your anger do not sin." Do not let the sun go down while you are sill angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger; brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

For man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

Victory

He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Comfort

How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings.

May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.

~Psalm 119:76~

For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
