One Thousand Dollar Cake

A favorite Chocolate Cake-moist cake, so easy, so good.

Sift together l cup sugar, 2 cups flour, 4 tablespoons cocoa, 2 teaspoons soda, pinch salt. Mix with 1 cup mayonnaise, l cup cold water and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake 375 degrees until done.

Icing

Blend together 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Blend in saucepan with 1/4 cup milk. Heat to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.  Boil 1 minute. Remove. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla. Beat briefly. Spread on cake.
